Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actor and singer from the United States. Her most acclaim was for her role as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). Also, she played the lead character Jerrica Jem Benton in the movie Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She has a younger sister Ally. Aubrey has been a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years during her youth. The valedictory speech she delivered was that of her class at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University was willing to admit her. But, she declined the offer twice. The second time was due to the fact that she wanted to perform in Nashville. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). The actress was also seen in the TV films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective and The Good Mother. She joined the cast in the role of a major regular in the second season of the show drama Nashville in which she played Layla Grant. Peeples talked about her bipolar condition during an interview she conducted the magazine NKD Magazine. Indiewire ranked Peeples as the highest on its list of top actors under the age of twenty-one in September of 2014.
